Mills College 2015- 2017

·      Teaching Assistant for Julie Chen’s classes Intro to Book Art,

      and Structure of Books

·      Teaching Assistant for Kathleen Walkup’s class Paris in Public and Private

·      Creation of teaching assignments per semester to fit within existing syllabi

·      Bindery TA, taking care of the space and aiding students outside of class time

·        Inventory and organization of vast print collection, spanning the 33 years of   

        the company’s history

·        Assisted Era Farnsworth in archive management with ArtStacks software

·        Worked directly with artists’ estates, such as Bruce Conner and George

       Miyasaki

·        Worked with estates of recently deceased artists to organize separation of   

       editions

·        Assisted Era Farnsworth with wholesale accounts and museums acquisitions

·        Packed art work in preparation for shipping and delivery, framed work and    

       tapestries

·        Planned national and international shipping and delivery of artwork

 

      Worked with artists to create specific editions of paper and other supstrates:

·        Guillermo Galindo and Richard Misrach, Border Cantos, using clothing           

       found abandoned along the US/Mexico border to make paper for

           printed musical scores.

·        Ceramic tile glazing for Chuck Close’s New York Subway project

·        MacArthur Binion, large hand-poured sheets poured to a precise thickness

·        Santiago Mantoya, using shredded currency to create large scale structural

       paper as well as flat pieces

·        Color process pulp paintings with Drew Cameron from Combat Paper for   

       Chuck Close
